THE Bossley Park High School Homework Centre is proving to be a God-send for students looking for a quiet place to study after hours.
Located within the school's library, the centre is designed to allow students a space to complete their after-school studies they may not have at home.
It is open several times a week and runs for 75 minute sessions.
Students making use of the service can also gain access to help for their assignments or general homework.
"I would recommend any student who needs extra help with their studies or any student who needs access to different resources to attend the homework centre" said program organiser Kerrie Breski.
"It has been a great success. That's why we have received grants to make it operational."
Ms Breski said that it had been proven that students making use of the centre, handed their assignments/projects in on time.
The centre is now in its 4th year of operation. There are always around three to four teachers on hand at the centre to help, offer support and encourage students to work hard.
"The homework centre helps me because I get to concentrate better and the teachers there are very helpful when I don't understand any of my homework," a student said.
