Police investigate Guildford shooting

Police from Rosehill Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting in Guildford overnight.

Police were called to a home on Station Street shortly before midnight (Monday 21 July, 2014), following reports of shots fired into a premises.

Upon arrival officers located a number of bullet holes through a window at the side of the premises.

A number of occupants were inside the home at the time of the incident and were not injured.

A crime scene has now been established while detectives and forensic officers conduct a full investigation.

A black Mazda hatchback was seen in the vicinity at the time of the incident and investigators would like to speak with the driver of that vehicle, or anyone who may able to assist police with their investigation.
