4WD crashes into Carlingford home

Police are conducting investigations after three people escaped serious injuries when a 4WD crashed into a house inCarlingford this morning.

Just after 7am (Wednesday 16 July 2014), police were called to a home on Marsden Road following reports a Toyota Prado had crashed into a home.

Police have been told a 20-year-old P-plate driver with two male passengers, also believed to be in their 20s, lost control of the 4WD and hit a concrete barrier, before rolling onto its side and hitting the house.

Emergency services were called, with one of the passengers treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics for minor injuries to his ankle.

The driver and second passenger were uninjured. There was no one home at time of incident and no structural damage was caused to the premises.

Officers attached to Rose Hill Local Area Command attended and are investigating the incident.
