Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash at Cecil Hills yesterday.
Just before 1pm, a Toyota Hilux stopped behind a Holden Rodeo on the M7 Motorway near Elizabeth Drive, when a heavy vehicle approached the two vehicles from behind.
Police said the heavy vehicle failed to stop in time and hit the Toyota Hilux, pushing it into the back of the Holden Rodeo.
The heavy vehicle then allegedly continued to drive away.
Two men in the Holden Rodeo were uninjured; however three women in the Toyota Hilux, aged 65, 69 and 73, suffered various injuries.
The two younger women were taken to Westmead Hospital, while the older was taken to Liverpool Hospital where they remain with non life-threatening injuries.
Officers attached to Green Valley Local Area Command, Traffic and Highway Patrol and the Crash Investigation Unit attended and commenced investigations.
As they continue their inquiries, police are urging anyone with information or any witnesses to contact them via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
