Fairfield Liverpool fast bowler Gurinder Sandhu (right) has committed to the Sydney Thunder for this year's Big Bash.
The 21-year-old Sandhu led the Thunder bowling statistics last year with 10 wickets at an economy rate of 6.5 runs an over.
Thunder general manager Nick Cummins said: "Gurinder is one of the best bowling talents in the country at the moment."

Tribute for league legend
The Western Sydney Men of League Foundation will hold a Graham Murray Tribute Luncheon at Cabramatta Leagues Club on July 25.
Murray, who coached NSW Illawarra Steelers, Hunter Mariners, Leeds Rhinos, Sydney Roosters and North Queensland Cowboys, passed away earlier this year after suffering a second heart attack.
Guests include Paul McGregor and John Peard.
Murray's wife Amanda and daughter Cara will attend the event.

Mounties face Magpies
The fourth-placed Mounties will take on the third-placed Aquith Magpies in round 15 of the Ron Massey Cup.
Both teams enter the game locked on 18 points; three points behind leaders The Entrance Tigers.
Meanwhile, Cabramatta will look to bounce back after a last-start loss when they play the Windsor Wolves.
The Two Blues are currently in ninth place on 13 points.
Three at netball champs
The Fairfield City Netball Association had three teams compete at the 2014 Netball NSW State Age Championships recently.
The under-12s team finished in 18th place, the under-15s finished 19th and the under-14s team came 20th.
Clut in Socceroos to face US
Former Westfields Sports High student Devante Clut has been selected in the Young Socceroos squad for the upcoming 2014 NTC Invitational tournament which will be held at US Soccer's National Training Centre in California.
The Brisbane Roar midfielder is hoping to be selected for the AFC under-19 Championship in Myanmar in October.
Phoenix players needed
Fairfield Phoenix Baseball Club need players, coaches and managers for their summer competitions.
The Phoenix play home games at Fairfield Park every Saturday in the winter and summer season, 11am-5pm.
Teams are needed for players from five to seniors.
