Police are investigating an armed robbery at Smithfield on Saturday.
Just after 7pm, a man entered a service station at the corner of The Horsley Drive and The Cumberland Highway armed with a knife.
The man, who had his face concealed, approached the 31-year-old attendant and demanded money.
He fled with a small sum of cash and police were alerted.
Officers from Fairfield Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.
The man is described as being about 173 centimetres tall with a medium to solid build.
Police are also investigating links between another armed robbery at the same location last week.
