FAIRFIELD Museum and Fairfield Council libraries will kick off the upcoming winter school holidays with plenty of fun and exciting activities.
Children can discover the art of origami with Bonnyrigg, Cabramatta, Fairfield and Wetherill Park libraries all holding workshops.
The free activity is aimed at children aged seven years and over, with the first workshop starting at 10.30am on July 2.
Children will also have the opportunity to celebrate NAIDOC Week by painting their own boomerang at Cabramatta, Bonnyrigg, Fairfield, Wetherill Park and Smithfield libraries.
Sponsored and run by Bunnings Warehouse, the activity will take place on July 9 and 11.
Bookings are essential for both activities.
Fairfield Museum and Gallery will also be holding its own exciting activities to entertain kids.
Workshops will comprise watercolour painting, super zentangles, making your own dream bird, and clay monsters.
Other activities include Paddle Pop places, planes and boats, paint, brush, play .
Tiny tots can imagine a magic place and little adventures, and make spirited flying kites, funky monkey mosaics and attend a soft pastel workshop.
All workshops cost $5 each, except for Clay Monsters, which costs $8.
