Shots fired in Greenfield Park

Police are appealing for witnesses after shots were fired into a house at Greenfield Park on Sunday. 

About 3.20am police were called to a home on Cheyenne Road after reports a number of shots had been fired into a residence.

A house and car were damaged but there have been no reports of injury.

Police from Fairfield Local Area Command established a crime scene, which is being examined by forensic officers.

Officers attached to Operation Talon have been notified and are assisting with the investigation. 

Operation Talon was formed in August 2013 to combat public place shootings in Sydney.
