Shots fired into Bossley Park house

Police are appealing for witnesses after shots were fired into a house at Bossley Park last night.

About 10pm yesterday, police were called to a home on Boronia Road after reports a number of shots had been fired into a residence.

The four occupants inside the house at the time were not injured.

Fairfield police established a crime scene, which is being examined by forensic officers.

It’s believed eight shots were fired into the front of the home.

Two men in dark clothing were seen running from the scene shortly after the incident.

It’s believed they got into a maroon sedan, which was last seen driving in a westerly direction on Restwell Road.

Officers attached to Operation Talon have been notified and are assisting with the investigation.

Operation Talon was formed in August 2013 to combat public place shootings in Sydney.
