Bowls day will be for SES

ST JOHNS Park Bowling Club will host a charity bowls day on Thursday, July 3, to raise funds for the State Emergency Service.

The Stan Anderson Memorial Charity Bowls Day is an initiative of ClubsNSW Western Metropolitan Region in honour of Stan Anderson who was president of the region for 19 years.

St Johns Park Bowling Club chief executive David Marsh said everyone was welcome to play.

"Just come along and have some fun and help us raise money for a very good cause," he said.

The day will include bowls, light breakfast, gourmet lunch and refreshments, auction and raffle.

Tickets are $85 a person.
