Investigations continue after a teenager was injured when he was hit by a bus in Smithfield this morning.
Police have been told that about 8.30am today a 17-year-old youth stepped from the kerb onto Brennan Road, and was hit by a passing bus.
The teenager suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Fairfield police are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, and who has not yet spoken to police, to come forward.
