Police are conducting investigations after two shooting incidents in Bossley Park on Saturday.
Police were called to Gallipoli Street after reports a number of shots had been fired into a front bedroom window of a residence just after 1am.
There was no-one inside the house at the time of the shooting, and no-one was injured.
The second incident occurred about 2.40am, when a number of shots were fired into a house on Sartor Crescent.
A family was at home at the time of the incident; no-one was injured.
Fairfield police established crime scenes at both addresses, which are being examined by forensic officers.
Officers attached to Operation Talon were notified and are assisting with the investigation, including whether the incidents are linked.
Operation Talon was formed in August 2013 to combat public place shootings in Sydney.
