Police investigate two shootings overnight

Police in Sydney’s south west have commenced inquiries after two shooting incidents overnight.

Just before 3.30am this morning, the occupants of a home on Dransfield Road, Edensor Park, awoke to the sound of a gunshot.

Police were called and located damage to a van parked outside, as well as minor damage to a window shutter and fence.

About 7.30am, police were called to Candlewood Street at Bossley Park after residents discovered damage to a front window.

An occupant reported hearing a loud noise about 4.30am.

No one was injured in either incident.

Police from Fairfield Local Area Command are investigating both incidents and the possibility they are linked.

Inquiries are continuing.
