PATRIZIO Buanne will light up the Marconi Club stage on his Viva la Dolce Vita Tour.

On Friday, August 8, and Saturday, August 9, Patrizio will present his new CD Viva la Dolce Vita as well as give the audience a promotional performance of some of the new work on the album.

Born in Naples, Italy, Patrizio has delighted audiences from a young age.

When he was 17, a music industry manager heard Patrizio sing and proposed he perform on the Pope John Paul II tour to Poland.

Patrizio's popularity soared and he became a household name in Poland, which led to his first record deal.

In 2004, Patrizio's idea of the 'Italian Songbook', The Italian, became his first CD and his international debut, which was recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and produced at the Abbey Road Studios in London.

The album was released in February 2005 and it reached the top 10 charts in the UK, where it attained gold status after only one week.

Patrizio has gone on to record Forever Begins Tonight, and in less than two years both albums captured the hearts of his fans the world over.

With huge success, particularly in the US, Patrizio decided that it was time for his career to jump to the next level.

He moved to the US and formed a partnership with Jim Morey.

This team produced Patrizio's third album, The American Songbook, simply titled, Patrizio.

It was released worldwide in September 2009 and both Australasian and European tours followed in 2010 and 2011.

Patrizio has a unique approach to romantic Italian and contemporary songs.
