Man charged with drug supply in Carramar

Police have charged a man over allegedly supplying a prohibited drug at Carramar yesterday.

About 8am, officers from the South West Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad executed a search warrant at a home on River Avenue.

As police entered the home, a 30-year-old man allegedly threw a package containing a substance, believed to be heroin, onto the roof.

Inside the home, officers located more white powder believed to be heroin, mobile phones suspected to be stolen, and drug supply paraphernalia.

A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Fairfield Police Station, where he was charged with:

- Organises/conducts etc drug premises expose child

- Supply prohibited drug

- Deal with property suspected proceeds of crime

- Breach of bail

He was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court tomorrow today.
