BIRD lovers will flock to Villawood Senior Citizens Hall on Sunday for the Parrot Breeders and Exhibitors Society of NSW's annual show.
The event will see more than 100 birds on display ranging from cockatiels to white cockatoos.
Irene McNamara, the secretary of the Parrot Breeders and Exhibitors Society of NSW, said people were travelling from as far away as Yass in the southern tablelands and West Wyalong in tne central west.
She said all birds will be judged on the day.
Category winners wil receive trophies.
"The judges will be looking at the size of the bird, its feathers, if they are healthy and the way the bird presents itself," she said.
"People can expect a really fun day — especially if they love birds.
"They can speak to the owners about different birds to find out more information about the breed."
The 73-year-old, who owns 18 birds ranging from grass parrots to crimson rosellas, said categories will include champion cockatiel, neophema, psephotus, lorikeet, broadtail, longtail, cockatoo, foreign, champion junior, champion pairs and champion hybrid.
