Abbotsbury big morning tea

Abbotsbury Uniting Church will hold an Australia's Biggest Morning Tea on Wednesday, May 21, at the corner of Cowpasture Road and Stockdale Crescent, Abbotsbury. 

All the money raised will go to support the Cancer Council's life-saving work including prevention programs, world-class research and support services.

It is the 13th year the church has held the event. It starts at 10am.

Join Story Safari

A Story Safari will be held at Neeta City on May 21 to celebrate Families Week and National Simultaneous Storytime.

It is also the launch of Paint Fairfield REaD.

The event will be held from 10am to 4pm with storytime sessions at 10am, 11am and 3.30pm with guest readers and entertainment throughout the day.

Native bee seminar

A free native bee seminar will be held at the Nalawala Sustainability Hub (inside Fairfield Showground) on Saturday, May 31, from 10am to 1.30pm.

Participants will learn about native bees, how they work in our environment, improve biodiversity and crop production and how to attract them to your garden.
