Police have charged a man following a glassing incident at a club in Edensor Park on Sunday morning.
About 1.30am, police believe a 22-year-old man was serving drinks from behind the bar of a licensed club in Edensor Road.
A 24-year-old man who was in the club became involved in a verbal argument with the bar man.
Another man who was part of a group in the club attempted to help himself to alcohol from behind the bar.
Police have been told that the 24-year-old man allegedly threw a glass at the bar man and then threw a second, which struck him in the mouth.
The man suffered a cut mouth and a broken tooth during the incident.
The injured man was taken by staff members to Liverpool Hospital where he received six stitches to his face. It is believed that the damaged tooth will also have to be removed.
The 24-year-old Wakeley man was later arrested at Fairfield Police Station and charged with reckless grievous bodily harm.
