GWS face challenge

GREATER Western Sydney Giants need winning form after their third consecutive loss in this year's AFL competition.

In round six, the Giants next play Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium at Carrara on Saturday.

The Giants lost 21.11 (137) to 10.12 (72) to Adelaide Crows at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.

Giants co-captain Callan Ward was concussed and replaced during the game.

The Giants have slipped to 14th and have eight premiership points.

"We've got 19 players under 50 games, our average games is about 30 and to have one of your 100-game players go down half way through the second quarter was disappointing," Giants coach Leon Cameron said.
