CABRAMATTA Bowling Club's Karen Murphy has earned the sport's top women's individual award for a second successive year.
Murphy, 39, is the Bowls Australia Female Bowler of the Year winner.
The experienced player enjoyed another stellar year in 2013, on the domestic and international circuit.
She claimed her sixth Australian indoor championship at Tweed Heads helping NSW win the Marj Morris Trophy and state champions trophy at the Australian sides championships in Bendigo.
Murphy, pictured, also won a silver medal in the Super 6 pairs event, and was runner-up in Australian open singles event.
On the international front, Murphy contributed to Australia's success at the Trans Tasman series, playing a leading role helping the women's team win the trophy.
Murphy's biggest triumph was winning the World Champion of Champions in New Zealand.
She was also one of five finalists in the 2013 NSW Sports Federation's Athlete of the Year Award.
Murphy was also selected in the Australian Jackaroos team for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games from July 23 until August 3.
It will be Murphy's third Commonwealth Games after Manchester 2002 and Melbourne 2006.
