FAIRVALE Public School will hold a special event next month to launch its new school rules.
Teacher Joanne Fedele said the rules encourage pupils to be friendly to each other, to always be safe, to learn and to be responsible.
"We never really had anything in place that the kids could understand," she said.
"The new rules also link up with name of the school — Fair-vale."
The launch will be on Tuesday, April 8.
"We'll be having rotational activities in the morning that focus on each of our four rules," she said.
"During the rotations students will go and place a painted handprint on one of our walls, too.
"We'll also be having a whole-school assembly, cutting a cake and releasing balloons at the end of the assembly to celebrate."
The school has called for a new logo to encompass and represent the new rules.
