DANIEL Di Iorio is no stranger to cutting other people's hair.
However, it's a different story when it comes to his locks.
The 23-year-old hairdresser hasn't had a haircut for three years — more than 1000 days of maintenance, hair ties and endless brushing.
That all comes to an end on Sunday.
The Horsley Park resident will shave his head as part of the World's Greatest Shave.
He has set an individual goal of $5000 to raise for the Leukaemia Foundation.
"It's all about creating awareness in the community about leukaemia," he said.
"I'm really looking to raise money for charity and the good thing is my hair is going to be donated to Variety to make a wig for people who need it.
"In total there will be six people shaving their heads on the day which will mean more than a metre and a half of hair to be donated."
Mr Di Iorio, who owns hair by daniel di iorio and operates out of Ultimate Hair Crew in Bossley Park, will have his head shaved by model Stefania Ferrario.
The World's Greatest Shave event will also include music from Exit Row, an auction, sausage sizzle and face painting.
The event will be supported by other businesses in the Bossley Park Shopping Centre.
"It will be a great day and we encourage the community to come down and support a great cause and hopefully we can raise close to $20,000 all up for the Leukaemia Foundation," Mr Di Iorio said.
