WHILE the heat from Saturday night's incendiary Sydney derby is yet to cool down, 3-1 losers Western Sydney Wanderers return home this Saturday night with one thing on their mind, three vital competition points.
Now 10 points behind Brisbane Roar and with just five rounds to go before the finals, the Wanderers will need wins from each of their last five matches, starting with Adelaide at Pirtek Stadium, Parramatta, on Saturday night. The match will kick-off at 5.30pm
Wanderers striker Brendon Santalab, who was involved in a verbal exchange with Sydney FC's Ali Abbas, said after the game: "It was very disappointing, obviously.
"We go 1-0 up and then we get a penalty, miss it, and they got a lot of confidence from that. Then they got one quickly back, which was a massive confidence booster for them. Up until their goal, I thought we were doing very well. It's disappointing how it panned out."
