THE Stockland Wetherill Park medical centre is today moving to a new premises fronting Polding Street.
It's part of the $222 million redevelopment and will be between the Commonwealth Bank and McDonald's.
Douglas Hanly Moir Pathology, Healthcare Imaging, The Caring Dental Team and Dental Focus will move to the new premises in Polding Street while works are undertaken by Stockland.
The medical centre will have a dedicated parking area and operate between business hours.
The manager of the centre, Nathan Yeo, earlier said: "We are delighted to open the doors to a welcoming and modern medical centre facility which offers the community access to a wide range of medical services under one roof."
The $222 million redevelopment of Stockland Wetherill Park is progressing on schedule.
Once completed, it will have:
■A 12-screen Hoyts cinema supported by an expanded external restaurant and entertainment precinct;
■A new, separate 800-seat indoor-outdoor food court and an expanded fresh food precinct;
■2700 car parking spaces;
■200 specialty tenancies;
■Woolworths, Coles, Big W and Target.
In addition Stockland is targeting a 5-Star Green Star "design" and "as built"' environmental rating.
