Police appeal for information on missing Fairfield man

Police are appealing for information after a man went missing in Fairfield last week.

Salvino Bernard Smith, aged 44, was last seen about 4am on Thursday, February 27, at his house on Vine Street, Fairfield.

He has not been seen or heard from since and his family and police have concerns for his welfare.

Mr Smith is described as being of Islander appearance, about 175 centimetres tall and with black, curly hair. 

He has a previous injury, so only has one eye. He was last seen wearing a black and grey chequered shirt.

Mr Smith suffers from ongoing medical condition that requires treatment.
