Fairfield City District Netball Association's new season starts on Saturday, March 22.
Competition games are played at Endeavour Sports Reserve, Fairfield West.
New secretary Bronwyn Irish said all clubs anticipate a good season.
Irish, 23, also the secretary of Smithfield Catholic Club, has been involved as a player since she was four and also coaches an under-10s team.
She will cram in a busy netball year coaching and holding dual roles as Smithfield and Fairfield associations secretary.
Last year was the association's 40th anniversary.
"We have seven clubs playing this season, Smithfield Catholic Club, Lansvale Hornets, Sydney United, Canley Heights Hotshots, Rebels Netball Club, Smithfield Panthers and Fairfield Tigers," Irish said.
"We expect to have 800 registered players ranging from four years of age to the seniors.
"We're looking at building the numbers and teams in the association and encouraging people to enjoy the sport."
The association will field two teams in the Netball NSW State League.
"We will have under-12s and under-15s teams in the state age titles."
This year's state age titles are from June 28 to June 30 - jointly hosted by Campbelltown and Illawarra associations.
