ST Johns Park Bowling Club's men's and women's players inspired NSW's dominant wins in the State of Origin Test series against Queensland at Port Macquarie last week.
In the men's fours' competitions, St Johns Park was represented by Mark Berghofer and Ben Twist in the open team. Ben Morthope played in the men's under-25s team.
NSW men's fours' team won the three match Test series 2.5 to 0.5, as one of the matches was drawn.
St Johns Park's leading women players Sharyn Renshaw, Beth Quinlan, Kelsey Cottrell, Anne Johns and Arleen Jefferies were in the NSW women's fours' team.
Renshaw said it was big achievement by the club's men's and women's players in the wins over Queensland.
"This is the fourth year in a row NSW have defeated Queensland in the women's State of Origin Test series," Renshaw said.
NSW won the Test series 3-0, a clean sweep.
"This is the first time a NSW women's side has won four Test series a row against Queensland."
Renshaw and Quinlan have been members of the state winning team in all four series from St Johns Park.
Jefferies has also been in the NSW winning team for all four series' but twice with another club and for the past two years representing St Johns Park. "We played well against top opposition," Renshaw said.
