Armed robbery at Mount Pritchard service station

Police are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at a service station in Mount Pritchard on Saturday.

Cabramatta police said about 2am, a man entered the shop on Elizabeth Street threatened the attendant, a 20-year-old man, with a firearm, demanding cash and cigarettes.

Officers said the attendant complied and handed over a sum of cash and cigarettes.

The allege that as the man ran from the shop he grabbed a few packets of condoms, before fleeing.

The man was described to police as Caucasian appearance, aged mid 20s, about 170 centimetres tall, wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt, dark shorts, a black beanie and runners.
