SOUTH-WEST Sydney residents can now do their banking 24 hours a day at the new state-of-the-art Westpac in Cabramatta.
The multimillion dollar renovation was apart of Westpac's Bank Now project and incorporated the new Smart ATMs.
Bank manager Denny Rijono said the facilities would transform the way customers do banking in south-west Sydney.
"The new Bank Now upgrade has given us new and improved technical capabilities which will really benefit our customers, both personal and business," he said. "Our new Smart ATMs are accessible 24 hours a day, so customers can deposit or exchange cash, coins and cheques any time of the day or night.
"[The location] in the heart of Cabramatta's diverse and multicultural community means we have a large contingent of ethnic customers.
"That's why we are one of the first Westpac Bank Now branches to have an American Express Foreign Exchange kiosk as part of our new fit-out, so it's now easier than ever to exchange foreign notes."
John Lam, owner of Taxation 8 in Cabramatta, said he had been going to the Westpac bank for more than 11 years and could not be happier with the new upgrades.
"A few local business owners got a sneak peak at the bank last week, and I have already used facilities," he said. "The ATMs have been great. They free up a lot of my time. I can go in before work or after work; it is truly 24-hours."
