ABBOTSBURY'S TreeTop Adventure Park has proved itself to be a destination of choice.
The park, located within Western Sydney Parklands, has won a gold award at the NSW Tourism Awards.
The awards were held at Royal Randwick and honoured venues in 32 categories.
The adventure park won the New Tourism Development category.
The park opened in October 2012.
It has attracted more than 30,000 adventurers looking for outdoor thrills and offers a range of activities, including flying foxes.
TreeTop Adventure Park general manager Sandrine Gaymard said: "We're delighted to be recognised in the awards program. It's a great win for TreeTop Adventure Park and for western Sydney because it really puts the spotlight on the type of tourism potential we have in this region."
TreeTop and each of the other NSW award winners will proceed to the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, to be held in Sydney in February.
