MORE than 90,000 people flocked to Cabramatta on Sunday to celebrate this year's Moon Festival.
Railway Parade, John Street and Park Road were alive with activities including martial arts demonstrations, community performances and live cooking demonstrations by celebrity chef Alvin Quah.
Food scientist Butterfly Skye taught festival attendees how to turn bugs into tasty snacks, while popular children's character Peppa Pig entertained the youngsters.
The festival, organised by Fairfield Council, also featured noodle eating, prawn peeling and moon cake eating competitions, as well as traditional lion dancing and a lantern parade led by the Moon Goddess.
A dazzling fireworks display brought proceedings to a close.
