THE Western Sydney Wanderers will host a training clinic at Prairiewood High School on September 19.
The Wanderers play in the A-League, Australia's premier football league. They are based in Blacktown and play their home matches at Parramatta Stadium.
Prairiewood is home to its own soccer team which plays in the Wanderers School Cup. They were undefeated and placed third this year.
Fadi, a year 12 student, coaches the junior players.
"The Wanderers Clinic will be a good experience and a chance to meet the players," said Fadi, who hopes to pursue a career in the major league.
Alan Mtashar, the coach for the Prairiewood soccer squad said he was 'very proud of my team'.
"It's good for the students to get out of school and meet other students and engage with other schools," he said.
