BONNYRIGG Commercial Centre will explode with colour and live entertainment on September 28 when eight of its shops join forces to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW and The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
There will be a raffle, lion dancing and a duo performing on the day, as well as wine tasting and slices of pizza handed out in exchange for gold coin donations.
The shops — Lucky Thai & Lao, Supplements 101, Aris' Pizza House, Salon Secrets, Krave Hair Designs, Pho 888, Cellarbrations at Bonnyrigg and Lee Kien Asian Grocery — will also donate goods for raffle prizes.
Aris' Pizza House owner Aris Majarian said he organised the event to help the community.
"We all know someone that's gone through cancer so if we can contribute towards helping doctors find a cure for it, then why not?
"My nephew has also had 47 operations which is why I wanted to donate some of the funds towards The Children's Hospital at Westmead."
Mr Majarian said he hoped to see at least 500 people turn up on the day and raise up to $10,000.
He is calling local clubs to match the funds raised from the event.
Cellarbrations at Bonnyrigg owner Sandra Te said she would provide wine tasting with cheese.
"When Aris told us about it we thought what a fantastic idea."
The event will be held at Bonnyrigg Commercial Centre, 134 Edensor Road, Bonnyrigg, from 11am to 3pm.
