Police have charged a man with allegedly propositioning school girls in Sydney's south west. A girl, 16, was standing outside her school on Aladore Street in Cabramatta when a man approached her about 11.20am on August 15. He allegedly offered the girl money for sexual favours. She ran away and reported the incident to teachers.
Investigations by Cabramatta police revealed a similar incident had occurred near a high school on Hamilton Road in Fairfield West on August 13. A red Mitsubishi Outlander was reportedly used in both cases. A man, 28, was arrested at his home in Edensor Park on August 16. He was charged in relation to both incidents with attempt/coerce prostitution, offensive conduct and intimidation. He was conditionally bailed to appear at Liverpool Local Court on September 4. A Cabramatta man, 60, was driving a red Toyota on Sussex Street, Cabramatta, about 7.55am on August 13. It is alleged he hit a fence. Police arrived and it was established his drivers' licence was disqualified. He was issued a summons to appear at Liverpool Court on September 25 for driving while disqualified and negligent driving.
