LIVERPOOL Golf Club is holding a charity day to raise funds for The Violet Foundation.
The Violet Foundation raises money to help those who have suffered from meningococcal disease.
Wattle Grove's Colin Greenway is the president of the Violet Foundation.
Mr Greenway has been a prime mover in raising awareness of the disease in the community.
The big day is on Thursday, September 5, starting at 6.30am.
Tee-off times continue until 1pm. The cost for visitors is $35, and members $14, for the 18-holes of golf.
There will be a barbecue throughout the day for participants.
Liverpool Women's Golf Club chairwoman Deanna Bruker said the club wanted to raise as much money as possible to support the Violet Foundation.
Ms Bruker said the day would be played under two best ball and individual stableford rules.
