■Orchid Show: Fairfield District Orchid Society will host its annual spring orchid show at Stockland Wetherill Park from September 4 to 8, in the centre court. The centre is located in Polding Street.
■Wildlife walk: Western Sydney Parklands Trust will host its final wildlife walk for the year on Saturday, September 7, from 8.30am to 10.30am. It will offer a chance to take a bird's eye view of wildlife that call the Plough and Harrow picnic grounds in Abbostsbury home. ■Moon Festival: Annual celebration in Cabramatta Town Centre on September 15 from 11am to 8pm. There will be live performances, food stalls, cooking demonstrations by popular chefs, a lantern parade, rides, lion dancing and fashion shows.
■Culinary Carnivale: Western Sydney's premier Spanish and Latin American food festival, part of The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month, will be held in the Fairfield City Centre on Saturday, October 19, from 11am to 4pm.
