Dinora Marquez sings to success

DINORA Marquez is closer to achieving her dream of becoming an international music star.

The 26-year-old pop singer has created her own film clip in an Abbotsbury mansion for her single Wanna Do It Again.

She's also clinched a spot at this year's Bring It On! festival.

"The Wanna Do It Again film clip made me realise how much I wanted to be in the industry. It was the best experience of my life," said the former Edensor Park resident.

"I'm hoping to make it big in the music industry — it's my dream but it's so hard to get into; so you really need to have a lot of determination, commitment and passion because if you don't, you'll crash and burn."

Ms Marquez plans a tour of Australia before heading overseas.

She said VIP Entertainment manager Alex Haddad was responsible for her progess after scouting her at a baseball game.

"I approached Dinora after she sang the Australian national anthem," he said.

"She had an amazing voice and when I spoke to her, she already had some ideas for songs.

"I will continue to guide her through her career."
