THE Fairfield City Local Business Awards customer nomination process is well under way.
An impressive number of nominations have already been received, only a matter of days after the program's launch.
The Fairfield City Local Business Awards is sponsored by Club Marconi, with support from Fairfield City Council, Stockland Wetherill Park, Fairfield City Chamber of Commerce, Bonnyrigg Plaza, Fairfield Forum Shopping Centre and Siena Italian Restaurant.
Club Marconi has thrown its weight behind the program for the eighth consecutive year.
The theme for this year's awards is Everything About You and refers to the role that individuals play as business owners, consumers and community members.
Organisers say the contributions of each help build a strong local community, create employment opportunities and build a thriving local economy.
The voting period runs for another two weeks.
Voting coupons can be obtained from the Champion or downloaded by visiting the Local Business Awards website, thebusinessawards.com.
Votes can also be directly lodged from the website.
Coupon votes should be mailed to: Precedent Productions, PO Box H211, Hurlstone Park, NSW, 2193.
Multiple votes for a single business are encouraged and can be lodged together in a single envelope.
By voting, participants will go into the running to win a Samsung Galaxy Camera.
