■ The Multicultural Food and Entertainment Festival will be on February 23 at Freedom Plaza, Cabramatta.
The festival will feature stalls offering cuisines from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Burma and Nepal. The day will also feature dance displays and musical performances as well as face painting and balloon animals.
The event is supported by Fairfield City Council, Wise Buy, Milton Tradings and Jesus Family Centre Cabramatta. It's from 9am to 6pm.
■ Check out Prestons resident Adam Scicluna in a stage remake of the 1939 film classic The Wizard of Oz at Parramatta Riverside Theatres. The production closes Saturday.
