TONY Bagala of Horsley Park has been preparing for Valentine's Day a month in advance.
He's been growing and prepping thousands of roses for the special day.
"It's a lot of work," he said.
"We have a special system which allows us to grow roses all year round.
"We also buy flowers from all over the world but at this time of year, it's the red roses that are in high demand."
The part owner of Bagala Brothers Australia has been in the industry for 38 years.
Mr Bagala, 62, began the family business with his older brother Frank.
"Back in the days I used to be a builder but business wasn't good so my brother and I decided to get into the flower business," he said. "Farm life is comfortable living but I think it's time to step back and allow the kids to take over."
