Burglary charge
A 29-year-old Bonnyrigg man will face court today charged with breaking into premises on Bromley Street, Canley Vale. Police said they were at the site on February 1 when the man returned with stolen property and made admissions. He was refused bail.
Station arrest
Cabramatta police said a working dog sniffed trouble on Thursday. They said they searched a 29-year-old Fairfield Heights man at Cabramatta station and found a small resealable bag they thought contained methylamphetamine (ice). The man was on bail for other offences. He was charged with possessing a prohibited drug, custody of a knife and breaching bail. He was granted conditional bail to Parramatta Local Court on February 15.
Behaviour charge
Two men were charged with offensive behaviour at Mount Pritchard last Thursday. Police said they spoke to a 21-year-old Heckenberg man in a car park near Elizabeth Drive and Meadows Road at 2.30am. They allege he resisted arrest and assaulted police.
A 19 year old from Heckenberg was also arrested for offensive behaviour and hindering a police officer in the execution of his duty. Both men will appear at Bankstown Local Court on February 21.
