Hells Angels bikie fatally shot in Wetherill Park

Investigations are continuing into the fatal shooting of a Hells Angels bikie gang member in Wetherill Park yesterday afternoon (January 15).

Police believe seven men attended a transport business site on Hassall Street at 3.30pm and argued with 45-year-old owner Zeljko Mitrovic.

Police were told Mr Mitrovic walked away but was followed by three of the men.

One of those men fired a number of shots and Mr Mitrovic died at the scene.

A 31-year-old employee also suffered an arm injury. He remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Police believe the incident was targeted at Mr Mitrovic. The motive is unknown.

The injured man is not believed to have any affiliations with bikie gangs.

Police are seeking information on a black car which some of the men are believed to have arrived in.
