Bronzed athlete
Fairfield High School student Sebastian Acosta-Vasquez won a bronze medal at the recent Australian All Schools Championships. Competing in the under-16 boys' high jump, he came third with a jump of 1.95m. Fellow Mounties athletics club athlete Frederick Adutwum also won bronze in the under-14s triple jump with a leap of 11.58m.
Alex in All Stars
Cabramatta resident Alex Sulusi, 19, will make her second appearance for the Women's All Stars rugby league team to take on the Indigenous Women's All Stars at Suncorp Stadium in February. Sulusi, a member of the Canley Heights premiership winning team, will start on the bench for the February 9 clash. The former Cabramatta High student has represented the NSW and Australian female rugby league teams previously.
Warwick Farm
