ROSEDALE Oval could be a possible venue for future women's international matches.
Fairfield Liverpool Cricket Club use Rosedale Oval at Warwick Farm as its home ground for grade matches and for training.
The ground was recently used for a one-day match in the national under-15s girls championships when NSW played South Australia.
Rosedale Oval also hosted matches in last year.
Fairfield Liverpool Cricket Club president Richard Cook said the facilities and playing arena at Rosedale were more than adequate to host international women's games.
"There is a process which we must follow to submit an application with Cricket Australia," Cook said. "Granted, it would be in a couple of years before we could probably successfully bid for a one-day game or even a Test match.
"We would need to get a separate scorers' area and also a better scoreboard built.
"We also have three synthetic and three turf practice wickets available for players."
Cook said the club would have to have discussions with Liverpool Council.
