FAIRFIELD mayor Frank Carbone has a bee in his bonnet over the area's parking needs.
He says there is a great need for more designated pick-up and drop-off zones around schools and medical centres.
"We need to make sure that people don't get fined for dropping off our elderly in front of medical centres," he said.
"We will also be extending the kiss-and-drop-off zones around schools because parents don't expect to get a fine when they drop off or pick up their children.
"But if people do the wrong thing and it becomes a safety issue, then we will have to enforce fines."
Cr Carbone will also set up a parking review panel to allow people to contest fines.
