MOUNTIES coach Steve Ghosn has described Saturday's 36-24 win against the Windsor Wolves as the best of the season.
Led by five-eighth Damien Mostyn, Mounties put the Bundaberg Cup competition on notice with a sublime display of attacking rugby league at Windsor Sporting Complex on Saturday night.
``It was definitely our best win of the season,'' Ghosn said.
``Windsor are a good team and we played well across the board.
``It's all about finding consistency at this time of the year and we're starting to build some momentum.''
With only four rounds left in the competition, Mounties are well placed to make an assault on the top-five, with games against WA Reds and Chester Hill Rhinos in the next fortnight.
``We can't get too far ahead of our ourselves we just have to keep working on our consistency and keep improving.
``Damien Mostyn was great on the weekend and if he keeps playing like that we'll be in good shape.''
Meanwhile, Cabramatta has cemented top place on the ladder with a crushing 58-10 win over Chester Hill Rhinos.
The Two Blues' 10-try romp was even more impressive when you consider big names including Casey Ellis, Richie Parker, Sika Teaupu and Allan Burns were on the sidelines.
In-form front-rower Jamie Small took home man-of-the-match honours, while Andrew Dallalana racked up a personal haul of 22-points.
