IT'S arguably the most famous backline in rugby league history Sterling, Kenny, Ella, Cronin and Grothe.
``[It] would have been my dream, to be on the end of that Eels backline,'' said Mitchell Scott, 52, of Greenfield Park.
``I have a football signed with most of them on it and it is one of my favourite possessions.''
As of this week, the long-term Eels fan is a star in his own right. Participating in the NRL Footy Show's Million Dollar Hot Seat, he walked away with $5000. He now goes into the draw for a chance to win $1million.
``It was an unbelievable experience,'' he said. ``I was a bit nervous but I just relaxed and tried to do my best.''
Not content with winning $750 on the wheel of chance, Scott rolled the dice for the chance to win the major prize. After answering a question about Wimbledon, he fired a textbook Peter Sterling-style pass which got him the cash.
