A COUNTRY music legend's lyrics could hold the key to Cabramatta claiming their first Metropolitan/Jim Beam/Bundy Red Cup this weekend against minor premiers Wentworthville.
Kenny Rogers proclaimed in his 1978 hit The Gambler: ``You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em.''
And if the Two Blues can find the balance between holding and folding they could well cause an upset on Saturday at Leichhardt Oval.
``It's all about finding the balance,'' said Cabramatta coach Len Stacker.
``We're not going to go in the game conservatively. If the opportunities are there we're going for them.
``It could go against us but we're going out there to win the game.''
Cabramatta booked their spot in the final with a trademark second half surge against Bankstown in the preliminary final.
With the scores locked at 12-12 in the break, the Two Blues scored four tries in a 20-minute blitz to eliminate the two-time winners 28-16.
They were forced to do it the hard way with centre Alan Burns and hooker Brett Rimmer forced off with injury in the opening quarter.
``We're hoping Brett [Rimmer] will be right but Alan is probably out,'' Stacker said.
``Wenty are a really good team who try to dominate possession and use their skilful backs out wide so we're going to have to be on our game.''
Stacker said key players Jamie Small last week's man of the match Andrew Dallalana and Ben Ellis would need big games to claim the title against the Magpies.
