Bingo for kids
Mounties has a range of exciting activities. On Mondays children can play bingo from 11am; at 1.30pm every Tuesday Mounties will screen a PG-rated movie including Marty and Emu (January 16), and Puppet Pete and His Crazy Puppet Show (January 23). On Thursdays kids can take part in a raffle to win a great prize. From 1pm on Fridays there will be a disco and karaoke afternoon. All events will be held in the Starz Room from Monday to Friday until January 26.

Zoo trip
Kids aged 12 to 18 can enjoy a free trip to Taronga Zoo on January 24 and Jamberoo Action Park on January 17 courtesy of Fairfield Council and Cabramatta Youth Team. Vietnamese Lunar New Year Exhibition is on daily between January 19 and March 2. Tet is the most important Vietnamese festival. "An Tet" literally means to "eat the Lunar New Year". Find out why traditional foods, like sticky rice cakes and red watermelon, are considered lucky. Museum hours: 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday; 1pm to 4pm Sunday; closed Monday.

Library fun
Kids who enjoy cartooning and reading can fly into their local library to be part of the national Summer Reading Club over the summer holidays. Until January 18 young people aged 5 to 15 can join the free Superheroes Summer Reading Club at any local library. Members can collect stickers, bookmarks and have the chance to create their own superhero character with local comic creator Matt Huynh. This program gives young people the opportunity to learn cartooning for free. On January 17, Mr Huynh will be at Bonnyrigg Library at 10am; Wetherill Park Library at noon; and Whitlam Library, Cabramatta at 2pm. On January 18 he will be at Smithfield Library at 10am; and Fairfield Library at noon.

Fairf ield Library will host the robotic finger and handcraft workshop on Friday at 10.30am will leave you amazed with its mechanical power.
