A woman, 47, suffered cuts and bruises when she tried to stop a man from stealing her car in Cabramatta on Friday, March 7.
The woman was in her gold Toyota Camry on Longfield Street at 7pm when a man approached her.
After a short conversation he opened the door and pulled her from the car.
She struggled with the man, who had gotten into the driver's seat.
A number of people helped the woman chase him but he got away.
He is described as being in his late 20s, of thin build, about 183 centimetres tall, and wearing a jumper with orange sleeves and dark back, dark track suit pants and joggers.
